

Sainik School Ghorakhal Celebrates Hindi Pakhwada 202
The closing ceremony of Hindi Pakhwada 2025, held at Sainik School Ghorakhal from September 1 to 12, was celebrated with great enthusiasm wherein cadets engaged in a variety of competitions, including calligraphy, recitation and declamation, essay writing and debates. To further stimulate the cadets’ creativity, the ‘Bhava Chitra Pradarshani’ was also organized. During the closing ceremony, Head & Dean, Department of Commerce D.S.B. Campus Nainital , Kumaun University, Prof. Atul Kumar Joshi graced the occasion as the chief guest.
On the final day, a Hindi debate competition was conducted for the senior category, on the thought-provoking topic: “Social media is a platform to distract, not a medium of self-expression.” All participants presented compelling arguments on this pressing contemporary issue with great conviction. After a rigorous contest, Kesari House emerged victorious.
Chief Guest Professor Joshi extended his congratulations to the winners and inspired all participants by stating that the Hindi language serves not merely as a medium of communication but embodies the essence of our culture and emotions. He urged the students to articulate their thoughts boldly in Hindi and to utilize social media with positivity and conviction.
Group Captain Vijay Singh Dangwal, the Principal of the school, expressed his gratitude to the Chief Guest and presented him a souvenir. He remarked that Hindi Pakhwada not only offers an opportunity to enhance the linguistic prowess of the students but also fosters a profound sense of connection and reverence for their mother tongue.
The program culminated in a special banquet honoring the winners of various competitions making the occasion truly memorable.
