Sainik School Ghorakhal had the distinct honor of hosting Shri Sanjay Seth,Hon’ble Raksha Rajya Mantri (RRM) on 16th Mar 2025. The visit marked a significant occasion, reinforcing the institution’s commitment to fostering leadership and excellence among its cadets.
The RRM was accorded a warm welcome by the Principal,Gp Capt Vijay Singh Dangwal, staff and cadets. During his visit, the Chief Guest inspected the school’s infrastructure and interacted with the cadets and the staff.
In his address to the cadets, the RRM shared Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi’s vision of ‘Viksit Bharat’; an initiative that envisions India as a developed nation by the centenary of its independence in 2047. He explained that this transformative roadmap emphasizes inclusive development, sustainable progress and effective governance. He urged the cadets to embody three fundamental principles for achieving success: Dedication, Discipline and Devotion which are essential traits for any individual aspiring to lead. He shared many inspiring anecdotes with the cadets in order to ignite their motivation. He advised the cadets to respect their parents , teachers and elders. He stressed that as prospective leaders of the Indian Armed Forces, they must exhibit unwavering dedication to the service of the nation. He emphasized that the well-being of the nation should always take precedence.
The Principal expressed gratitude to the RRM for his insightful guidance and unwavering support for the school’s growth and development. The visit concluded with the presentation of souvenir to the Chief Guest by the Principal,Gp Capt VS Dangwal.
The visit by the RRM served as a source of great motivation for the cadets and staff, reinforcing the school’s mission of grooming future leaders for the armed forces and the nation.
